Sinopse:
A série tem como protagonista a atriz Mary-Louise Parker (de Angels in America, Tomates verdes fritos e The West Wing). Parker, que ganhou o Globo de Ouro em 2004 e 2006, encarna Nancy Botwin, uma viúva que para garantir o sustento dos filhos passa a vender maconha na pacata e, aparentemente conservadora, Agrestic; pequena cidade do interior da Califórnia. Compõem o elenco nomes como Elizabeth Perkins e Keavin Nealon. Weeds é uma série tragicômica que apresenta o lado politicamente incorreto dos tradicionais lares americanos.
